Business Controller

THE ROLE:

The Business Controller is responsible for the monitoring, analysis and optimization of financial results in order to achieve the goals of the Astara Poland.

MAIN FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Budgeting and Forecasting:​

• Prepare the annual budget and budget forecasts as needed, plan and coordinate the budget process. Upload the budget and forecasts correctly into the Astara systems. Prepare budget execution and variance analyses.

Company’s credit lines and cooperation with banks:

• Supervise financing limits in the financing bank and dealer limits.

• Cooperate with the financing bank, other financial institutions and insurers. Forecast credit lines and future needs.

• Supervise the sales and purchase process (cars and parts) in relation to credit lines and stock levels.

Analysis, reports and presentations:

• Prepare reports, financial materials, and presentations to support senior management in decision-making, ensuring the reliability of information provided for strategic purposes.

• Compile reports and summaries as needed for the annual audit and other audits.

• Prepare sales/cost and profitability reports and analyses. Propose, create and manage revenue and cost reserves in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

• Supervise the integrity of accounting reports with reports for management accounting purposes.

• Preparate and supervise the cash flow – monitor the financial liquidity and analyse future needs.

• Participate in month’s/year closing process; provide necessary information for the closings i.e. accruals/provisions.

• Participate in financial audit and provide support to other departments in the event of audits or inspections.

• Prepare transfer pricing documentation in cooperation with Accounting Department

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• +10 years experience in Finance

• + 5 years in Business Controlling

• Hands on experience in budgeting and forecasting

• Advanced knowledge of SAP system

• Very good command of English

• Accuracy and orientation to details
