ABOUT YOU
As our Commercial Administrator, you will bring strong organisational skills, a positive attitude, and experience in financial administration or a similar role. You’ll be confident managing invoices, liaising professionally with stakeholders, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Required skills and experience:
- Previous experience in financial or commercial administration advantageous
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Positive and proactive approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external contacts
- Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using databases and billing systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Full-time (37.5 hours) with flexible, hybrid working arrangements
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
You will take responsibility for the end-to-end invoice preparation and submission process, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This includes liaising with various stakeholders, supporting month-end billing processes, and continuously seeking opportunities to improve efficiency.
Key activities:
- Prepare routine and ad-hoc invoices, ensuring approvals and accuracy
- Maintain up-to-date customer and vendor data within company systems
- Submit invoices timely with required documentation to avoid payment delays
- Process credit notes and purchase orders as required
- Assist with job and invoice close-outs and archiving
- Collaborate with the UK Ledger team to resolve invoice disputes
- Support other team members and undertake special projects as needed
