Job Description:

Operations Lead is managing AMO (Hangzhou) site overall operations responsibility for compounding, aseptic filling, packaging, warehousing and other product quality related activities.

Responsible for the overall operations goals and objectives, developing and implementing methods and procedures to monitoring production activities, ensuring products meets specifications and are produced under compliance with approved policy, GMP and EH&S requirements. Provide professional leadership, mentoring and development to all operations staff members in order to achieve both near-term and long-term strategic goals.

Key responsibilities:

Plan, organize, direct and coordinate site operations to achieve both short- and long-range business objectives while ensuring compliance with approved procedures, meeting all quality, regulatory, safety and service requirements.
Continuously cultivate a healthy quality compliance culture. Develop operators’ skills in aseptic processing, automation, regulatory compliance, quality fundamentals and continuous process improvement. Develop the leadership skills of the operations leadership team. Develop meaningful succession plans and development programs for all key staff members.
Ensure the warehousing operation in compliance with GMP and EH&S requirements, including fire safety & security, as well as the finical requirement; provide appropriate business support to related departments with the existing warehouse resource.
Continuously focus on upgrading manufacturing processes and technologies in order to improve quality performance and production efficiency as well as stability and predictability of delivery and customer service. Actively engage in deployment of Business Excellence (BEx) in operations and ensure a culture of BEx and continuous improvement are constantly reinforced throughout operations.
Engage in site strategic planning to achieve long range objectives. Participate, develop and implement site policies, strategies and long-range plans.
Participate in and contribute to the formulation and implementation of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs, and fire safety and security works. Ensure that the EHS & ISO14001 are effectively implemented throughout site.
