Patient Authorization and Referral Representative

This position is responsible for front-end reimbursement duties such as insurance benefit checks, prior authorizations, providing phone and clerical component of home infusion. Other responsibilities include entering patient referral data into the database, entering physician information into the database, adding progress notes, responding to billing department requests, calling providers, insurance companies and patients.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year Exp in medical office setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with verification of insurance benefits.
• 1 year reimbursement experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
