Join us as a trusted Compensation Associate, where you will provide strategic solutions and expert advice to the business and HR business advisors. This role combines in-depth knowledge of compensation principles with an understanding of business needs, market and regulatory landscapes, and detailed analysis and models.

As a Compensation Associate in the HR team, you will perform a variety of compensation activities, including providing guidance to line and HR management regarding compensation actions for employees, administering/coordinating annual compensation planning processes, and analyzing and reporting internal and external market compensation data. You will be part of a global team representing diversity of thought, experience, and backgrounds who are friendly, committed, hard-working, and growth-oriented.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end annual compensation planning via analytics, modeling, and reporting.
  • Work with teams across various areas of HR and the business, offering a range of skillsets, leadership styles, and learning opportunities.
  • Understand business priorities and effectively diagnose issues; provide clear advice and recommendations to help partners make informed and sound compensation-related decisions.
  • Simplify and improve processes with fresh ideas, strategy, design iteration, and implementation to ensure alignment with business strategy, best practices, and our risk and controls framework.
  • Advise on compensation-related activities, including new hire offers, promotions, transfers, budget allocation/forecasting, and top talent retention.
  • Participate in firmwide projects involving compensation, including policy reviews, changes in compensation practices, and systems development.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Relevant HR/Compensation or Finance experience with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional systems skills; Advanced MS Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft applications required. Business Objects preferred.
  • Proven consulting and influencing skills; ability to drive business goals through HR/Compensation strategies in an innovative and creative way.
  • Ability to execute and sustain operational excellence.
