IT Infrastructure Internship

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support:
  

1. Assist in providing first-level technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
   

1. Help set up and configure workstations, laptops, and other devices
   
   

• System Maintenance:
  

1. Assist in monitoring and maintaining IT systems, including servers, networks, and databases.
   

1. Perform routine updates, patches, and backups under supervision.
   
   

• Documentation:
  

1. Help create and update IT documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting manuals, and system configurations.
   
   

• Security Support:
  

1. Assist in implementing and monitoring security measures, such as but not limited to Endpoint Protection and firewalls.
   

1. Help enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security.
   
   

• IT Assistance:
  

1. Support IT projects, such as but not limited to system upgrades or network expansions.
   

1. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on time.
   
   

• Learning and Development:
  

1. Gain exposure to IT tools, systems, and best practices.
   

1. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.
   

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  

• Basic understanding of hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and networking.
  

• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
  

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  

• Exposure to IT security principles and helpdesk tools.
  

• Basic experience with scripting (Bash, PowerShell) or automation.
