As a Networking Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our organization’s network infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a robust and secure network environment to support our business operations.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement network configurations, including routing, switching, and firewall setups.
Monitor network performance and diagnostics, identifying areas for improvement.
Troubleshoot network issues and outages, performing root cause analysis and remediation.
Manage network security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate various systems and services for optimal network performance.
Document network configurations, policies, and procedures for ongoing maintenance and training.
Assist in the evaluation of new technologies and networking solutions.
Participate in on-call support to address network-related issues after hours as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in networking engineering or a related role.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VPNs.
Experience with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and HP.
Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Proficient in network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, or similar applications.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex networking issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
