TITLE: Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager

Job role Type: Individual Contributor 

Over 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing setup.

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Economics / Finance / Business, Chartered Accountant designation or equivalent


LOCATION:  Vashi, Navi Mumbai


Primary Purpose: 

The FP&A Manager will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes, working closely with the Finance Director and cross-functional teams. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, business performance tracking, and generating insights that contribute to effective decision-making across the organization.

This is a hands-on, analytical role suited for someone who enjoys working with data, has a strong financial foundation, and can collaborate with commercial and operations teams to drive performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Assist in preparation of monthly management reporting, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet analysis
  • Support in the preparation and review of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
  • Perform variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast), identify trends, and provide commentary
  • Develop financial models to support business initiatives and decision-making
  1. Business Partnering & Commercial Support
  • Collaborate with the commercial and supply chain teams to track key financial metrics
  • Provide financial insights and scenario analysis to support pricing, promotions, and new business opportunities
  • Support in evaluating strategic options using cost-benefit analysis and profitability assessments
  1. Reporting & Dashboarding
  • Maintain and enhance dashboards, reports, and performance tracking tools
  • Assist in the automation and standardization of recurring reporting processes
  • Work with BI and ERP systems (e.g., Navision, SAP, Power BI) to extract and analyse data
  1. Operational Support & Controls
  • Support finance transformation initiatives focused on improving analysis, reporting, and business engagement
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and corporate reporting requirements
  • Coordinate with internal/external auditors as needed

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Economics / Finance / Business, Chartered Accountant designation or equivalent

Experience: Over 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing setup.
