We are searching for a top-level HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources Department. If you are passionate about supporting teams, thrive in a fast paced environment, and enjoy bringing structure and organization to the workplace, this is the role for you.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Team Leader / Support for HR Orientation: Handle all new hire communication and coordination of monthly company orientation. Complete/help with HR Orientation preparation and execution from start to finish.
  • New Team Member Welcome Posting: Create the welcome announcement and post to the company intranet before orientation starts.
  • Stay Interviews: Conduct all stay interviews with our loyal team members. Informs leadership of areas of improvement and facilitates change management where needed.
  • Conduct 90-day follow-up interviews with new team members: Communicate any areas of improvement to Head of People to create strategic plans to facilitate change within departments.
  • Response Management: Manage all Glassdoor comments and respond to comments monthly.
  • Blue Intranet: Make monthly postings on behalf of the HR department on the Blue Intranet. Meet with HR Team to come up with a topic for each month.
  • Baby boxes & Grievance boxes: Responsible for ordering special occasion boxes for team members as needed.
  • HonorBylt Benefits & 401k Processing: Tracks all HonorBylt team members and follows up with them to complete their benefits enrollment and 401k registration.
  • Purchase and send DD Milestone Awards: Orders trophies, cards, and completes payroll coding.
  • Oversee the SWAG Shop: Send out e-gift cards to all team members who hit their anniversary month. Add new items to the shop once every six months or quarterly.
  • Training Systems: Enter all new hires into all training systems (Absorb, LinkedIn Learning)
  • DDLI & DD Academy: Support team leader/be the backup leader with coordination of Zoom meetings, lunches, and printed materials as needed. Responsible for reviewing, editing, and uploading recorded videos to LinkedIn Learning.
  • Support Marketing in taking pictures at events for social media postings if needed.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative or coordination support to every member of the HR department as needed.
  • Oversee coordination efforts for all Teams at DD (Team Happy, Team Wellness, Team Impact, Women in Construction), etc. Official Co-Leader of Team Happy & Team Wellness. Meet with all Team leads quarterly. Responsible for all monthly events at all office locations (with help from team members).
  • Events include but are not limited to the yearly calendar created by Team Happy: Plan and coordinate all Fall Festivals, Christmas parties, and summer Family Events for all office locations.
  • Handle Ryan Overmyer Award coordination: Send email notifications out with survey, collect responses, coordinate CEO’s video with marketing, purchase awards, and coordinate with payroll for payouts.
  • Manage all budgets for teams/locations: Assist Co-Leader in all budgeting for cultural teams.

What you need for this position:

  • 2-5+ years administrative experience, preferably in an HR department.
  • 4-year degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for people and construction.
  • Must be able to multitask and handle multiple job duties at one time.
  • Ability to work independently and meet monthly deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work at the Headquarters, drive to job sites, or work from VentureX.
  • Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, and commitment to delivering quality results.
  • Ability to use technology, especially cloud-based software, to meet goals accurately and efficiently.
  • Adherence and use of the department’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a positive “can-do” attitude in a collaborative environment.
