Your new role
The role of Reward Lead – Advice and Delivery is to manage the application of AustralianSuper’s reward frameworks by leading a mixture of BAU reward delivery and reward project work.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
Lead the delivery of the annual remuneration review through management of a multi-disciplinary project group as well as directly owning specific reward-based elements.
Guide and advise leaders across the Fund in making effective reward decisions through application of the Funds reward framework combined with sound judgement, experience, and consulting capability.
Respond to changing Fund strategies and conditions in the macro environment by continually exploring opportunities for adapting and iterating the Fund’s reward, recognition and benefits frameworks to optimise talent outcomes.
Partner with the Reward Lead – Governance and Frameworks to develop recommendations for change to the Fund’s reward frameworks, from ideation, consultation, design, and approvals.
Author papers on remuneration outcomes and practice for presentation to various stakeholders and audiences including Board and Committees.
Build awareness of the Funds reward approach and practices across all colleagues, aligning colleague expectations with Fund practice and overall lifting engagement on reward in key groups.
Enhance and maintain risk controls for reward and reward related outcomes at the Fund and manage incident remediations.
Work directly with leaders and stakeholders across the business to ensure their reward needs are monitored and continually considered in the design and application of programs.
Manage and deliver reporting on reward outcomes and reward and talent risk to the P&C Senior Leadership Team and other key stakeholders.
What you’ll need
Established capability and experience in the provision of reward advice within the Financial Services industry, and ideally Investments or Superannuation.
Demonstrated experience in the maintenance and enhancement of reward policy and programs.
Strength in presenting reward concepts with clarity and precision across a variety of audiences.
Excellent consulting skills and ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders to develop solutions,
Good understanding of relevant local and global legislation and industry standards such as CPS 511, FAR, UK Senior Managers Regime and the FSB’s Principles for Sound Compensation Practices.
