Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and related equipment.
Diagnose electrical problems using diagrams, blueprints, testing devices, and technical manuals.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or necessary adjustments.
Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to reduce downtime and ensure safe operations.
Respond promptly to emergency electrical calls and perform troubleshooting and repairs as required.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices.
Install and connect electrical panels, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
Collaborate with other trades (e.g. HVAC, plumbing, carpentry) to support maintenance and renovation projects.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
Follow company safety policies and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a facilities, industrial, or hospitality environment.
Valid electrician certification/license as required by local regulations.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Skilled in using electrical testing equipment and hand and power tools.
Good understanding of occupational hazards and electrical safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks and working in various conditions (e.g. heights, confined spaces).
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
