Job Description:

PROCESS:

Scheduling:

• Manage Siqalo and SDGISA oil contracts by keeping both contracts with positive stock levels in the plant. This includes management of the TOO process.
• Call-off contracts applying FIFO principles to minimise storage and late upliftment charges.
• Create Purchase Orders (and Stock Transfer Orders) and call-off bulk raw materials from oil traders and suppliers.

• Generate a schedule for containers and share with the 3PL service provider.
• Notify contract Hauliers of  imported oil requirements
• Scheduler to confirm the daily and weekly tanker plan with the contracted haulier.
• Schedule production in the Refinery according to the demand on the Production Plan and tanker Plans
• Maintain and update Refinery Production Plan (plan vs. actual) and reschedule as required. Confirm changes to the tanker plan as per the changes to the Refinery Plan.
• Manage the standing time of the Imported Oil tankers on a monthly basis for the monthly invoice sign offs.

Reports

• Generate weekly and monthly Siqalo opening stocks report and share with both SDGISA and Siqalo teams.
• In conjunction with the Logistics Supervisor set up weekly KPI meetings with the contracted Haulier and compile Tanker KPI reports and distribute to the Logistics Manager on a weekly basis.
• Monitor working capital of raw materials including Imported Oils to the agreed business targets.

• Close-out all outstanding open Purchase Orders (month end)

Other:

• Compliance and applicable legislative requirements (eg POPIA, LRA & BCEA)

Minimum qualification: National Diploma in Production and inventory Management

Advantageous: Knowledge of the Refinery processes including Tank Park operations.

Experience: 3 - 5 years relevant experience in a related role within the food manufacturing environment
