- Guarantee that all intercompany transactions (e.g. roaming fees, shared services, MoMo systems, IT infrastructure etc) comply with OECD guidelines, local TP rules, and BEPS requirements.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely transfer pricing documentation (Master file, Local file, Country-by-country reporting if applicable).
- Develop, implement, and update group transfer pricing policies
- Align TP policies with business models and internal cost allocation methodologies.
- Monitor and analyze ongoing intercompany transactions to ensure that pricing aligns with the arm's length principle.
- Coordinate with finance and operations to track, document, and reconcile intercompany charges regularly.
- Proactively identify and mitigate TP risks, especially in high-risk jurisdictions or during reorganizations.
- Lead TP audit responses and defend positions with solid documentation and benchmarking studies.
- Oversee or coordinate benchmark studies for telecom-related services, IP use, or cost-sharing arrangements.
- Evaluate profit splits, cost-plus, or other methods appropriate for telecom intercompany transactions.
- Work closely with Finance, Legal, IT, and Regulatory teams to understand the operational flow and financial impact of intercompany arrangements.
- Ensure contract terms and operational behavior are aligned with TP documentation.
- Advise management on TP implications of new products, services, restructurings, or expansion
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines:Accounting, Taxation , Finance , Business Administration , Economics, Law (preferably with a specialization in Tax Law)
- A master’s degree is highly desirable, such as:MSc in Taxation, Accounting, or Finance, MBA with a focus on Finance or Tax Strategy , LLM in Taxation (for candidates with a legal background)
Professional Certifications:
- At least one of the following professional tax or accounting designations:
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
- CA (Chartered Accountant)
- CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser)
- CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)
- Or a recognized national tax certification (depending on Cameroon Tax bodies)
Training
- Courses or certifications in:
- Transfer Pricing
- International Taxation
- Telecommunications Taxation
- ERP/Tax Technology Systems
Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in taxation, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial tax role.
- Direct experience in the telecommunications industry is highly preferred.
- Alternatively, experience in multinational companies, digital services, or regulated sectors with complex tax structures.
- Corporate income tax,
- VAT, withholding taxes
- Tax accounting and reporting (provisioning, deferred tax, reconciliations)
- Transfer pricing, including policy setup, documentation, and audit defense
- International tax compliance and cross-border transactions
- Manage tax compliance calendars, filings, and audits
- Lead monthly and year-end tax closings
- Oversee cross-functional tax processes involving finance, legal, HR, and operations
- Oversee intercompany transactions with TP regulation
- Managing tax audits and negotiating with tax authorities
- Implementing tax controls and risk mitigation frameworks
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle, or similar
- Familiarity with e-filing platforms, data analytics tools, or digital tax compliance solutions
- Demonstrated leadership in managing tax teams or projects
- Experience working across departments and with external advisors or auditors

- Skilled in extracting, reviewing, and validating tax-relevant data
- Familiar with tax compliance platforms and data analytics tools
- Able to explain complex tax issues to non-tax professionals clearly
- Strong writing skills for preparing reports, memos, and audit responses
