Enterprise Risk Manager (6-month contract)

Control Risks is excited to be working with a key banking client in Mumbai to identify and embed an experienced 'Enterprise Risk Manager' for an initial period of 6 months.

The Enterprise Risk Manager (ERM) will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust enterprise-wide risk management framework that identifies, assesses, mitigates, and monitors risks across all facets of the organization. This role will play a critical part in enhancing the client’s risk culture, enabling strategic decision-making, and ensuring the continued resilience and sustainability of the company.

This role will ideally commence employment in late July or early August.

Requirements

• A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Professional Risk Manager (PRM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM)), Masters in Business Administration (MBA) are highly desirable
• [5+] years of progressive experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Climate Risk, ESG, or a related field, preferably within BFSI industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and managing ERM frameworks and processes.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, quantitative and qualitative risk analysis, and control frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex risk concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and external stakeholders, including presentations to executive committees.
