The Procurement Digital Transformation Expert will conduct analyses of business analytics and reporting needs in Procurement. You will propose/implement soon-to-be processes & technical designs for analytics/reporting use cases in line with the Procurement Product owner / stakeholder requirements. You will partner and collaborate closely with the Business Intelligence Developer, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to make sure Analytics pilots are delivered according to the aligned scope & set upon timelines
What will you be doing:
- Conduct a thorough analysis and documentation of the current business processes and data flows within the Procurement function. Identify areas where the business can potentially benefit from the application of data analytics.
- Explore opportunities within the existing process where data analytics can drive efficiencies, improve decision-making, or unlock new insights. Highlight key areas for improvement and suggest ways to enhance processes using analytics.
- Design and implement a future state for the business process, incorporating data analytics into Procurement operations. Ensure the new process is aligned with business objectives and data-driven decision-making goals.
- Map relevant business datasets and complete source-to-target data mapping. This process will facilitate a common understanding among business stakeholders and the data engineering team, ensuring alignment on data requirements.
- Partner with Data Scientists and BI Developers to ensure that all technical and business requirements are clearly communicated and met for each analytics use case
- Identify opportunities for transforming business processes and enhancing digital products. Translate these opportunities into actionable data analytics use cases that can drive business outcomes and innovation.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including Net Promoter Score (NPS), to measure the success of the implemented analytics solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.
What you'll bring:
- You must have an affinity for technology such as SAP, Ariba in a Procurement or Supply Chain capacity
- You must have 2+ years of Project Management experience involving multiple levels of stakeholders in PMO environments. Agile is an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to be able to identify gaps and challenge on a procurement level - must have that background to be able to effect and drive change
- Effective stakeholder management and a customer-centric mindset to align solutions with business needs - This role drives and to implement changes - cascading workflow and deliverables. You are creating and owning solutions, steering and highlighting bottlenecks
- Fluent English with excellent communication and active listening skills
- Confidence to work independently once goals and project purpose are given
- Proficient in presentation and public speaking for stakeholder management
- Ability to map data requirements to key performance indicators (KPIs)
