Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Community Management to develop and execute the Annual Strategic Marketing and Sales Plan, including growth goals, outreach timelines, CRM tracking, and progress reporting.
  • Prepare and manage cost projections for sales-related activities, including marketing materials, digital advertising, memberships, sponsorships, and events.
  • Identify and recommend new business opportunities through networking, industry engagement, and market research.
  • Lead and support inbound and outbound sales activities: respond to inquiries, customize proposals and RFPs, maintain current sales decks, and support contract negotiation efforts as directed.
  • Represent Terra West at networking events, industry conferences, and trade organizations; build relationships that contribute to lead generation and community visibility.
  • Secure media placements for Terra West and executive team in trade and general publications. Coordinate interviews and coach leaders to ensure brand-aligned messaging.
  • Partner with department heads to develop and execute annual client satisfaction surveys. Analyze results and identify improvement areas. Present findings to the Director and President.
  • Oversee execution of internal and external communications strategies, collaborating closely with Human Resources on employee messaging and intranet content.
  • Coordinate high-level client communications and VIP responses, ensuring timely, professional, and consistent messaging aligned with company standards.
  • Create and maintain digital and print marketing assets, working across departments to ensure materials are current and aligned with brand standards.
  • Launch and monitor marketing campaigns across multiple channels (social media, email, web, events) and report on performance metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM dashboards).
  • Write and manage content for newsletters, blog posts, website updates, and social media with a focus on engagement and client education.
  • Maintain and grow the CRM database, ensuring quality lead tracking, segmentation, and campaign integration.
  • Respond to all social media messages and reviews; monitor sentiment and escalate concerns as needed to appropriate leadership.
  • Assist with cross-selling opportunities to existing clients through targeted campaigns and personalized outreach.
  • Track and manage departmental expenses, ensuring budget compliance. Seek prior approval from the Director and President for any over-budget expenditures.
  • Participate in contract renewals and negotiations as requested and assist in managing external vendors and service providers related to marketing and sales.
  • Stay informed of changes in industry regulations, market trends, and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the Director of Business Development and Community Management and/or the President and COO.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles, preferably within property management, real estate, or professional services.

Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and managing lead pipelines.

Proven track record of generating new business and managing client relationships.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (social media, email campaigns, web analytics).

Experience developing proposals, presentations, and sales/marketing collateral.

Other Requirements:

Ability to attend networking events and client meetings, including occasional evenings or weekends.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
