Join Hastings Deering as a Construction Project Manager

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager to join our team at Hastings Deering’s based at either our head office in Archerfield (Brisbane), Mackay or Rockhampton. We’d still love to hear from you — your location doesn’t limit your potential with us.

This is a full-time, permanent position operating Monday to Friday.

In this role, you’ll take the lead on our diverse construction projects across our footprint, managing the end-to-end process from project initiation through to construction delivery. From design development and tendering to budget estimation, construction oversight, and final hand-over, you’ll shape and deliver critical infrastructure, buildings, and facilities that keep our footprint strong.

About You

A successful teammate will have experience in:

Proven experience in client-side construction management within large-scale organisations, across diverse and complex projects.
Demonstrated capability in managing project risk, with a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
Successful track record in leading project teams and driving results.
Consistent achievement of key construction performance indicators, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.
