Here is What Your day May Consist of:
- Room patients and obtain medical histories, vitals, and temperatures
- Draw blood, place IV catheters, administer vaccines and medications
- Monitor anesthesia, assist during surgery, and perform dental cleanings
- Take digital radiographs, assist with ultrasounds, and provide emergency support
- Provide client education on medications, treatments, and general pet care
- Maintain clean and organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and kennels
- Support front desk operations and phone communications as needed
Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of veterinary experience (Required)
- Proficient in IV catheter placement, blood draws, and anesthesia monitoring
- Knowledge of vaccines, preventative care, and veterinary terminology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for animals and excellent client service
- 10-hour shifts
- Day shifts
- Weekend availability
- Holiday shifts
- Overtime as needed
