Aerones is seeking a talented and innovative Materials Chemist to join our dedicated R&D team. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing and optimizing materials for our cutting-edge robotic solutions. Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development of new materials tailored for specific applications in robotics.
- Analyze and characterize materials using various techniques to assess their properties and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, to integrate new materials into product development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of experiments, procedures, and results to support regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in material science to drive innovation within the company.
- Assist in troubleshooting material-related issues in production and provide solutions to enhance product quality.
Requirements
- Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in materials research and development, particularly in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong laboratory skills with the ability to carry out chemical analyses and characterizations of materials.
- Familiarity with polymer science, composites, or nanomaterials is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Effective communication skills to present findings and proposals to a varied audience.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the laboratory.
- Experience with computational modeling and simulations related to materials properties is an advantage.
