Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions across applications and platforms. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in automation frameworks, performance testing, and end-to-end software quality assurance within Agile teams.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with engineering leadership, IT architects, scrum teams, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
Enhance and maintain existing code, stored procedures, applications, and platforms using domain-driven design principles and test-driven development methodologies.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues by devising effective solutions.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and provide reliable time estimates for development tasks.
Contribute to the establishment of coding standards, best practices, and security compliance guidelines.
Design and implement test automation frameworks and strategies utilizing Playwright.
Lead the development of automation roadmaps and assess process improvements for test automation.
Draft test strategies, plans, and cases tailored for Agile project cycles.
Develop automated test scripts for GraphQL APIs and Korber WMS software.
Implement data-driven testing methods to evaluate application performance under various data scenarios.
Work in close coordination with IT architects and technical leads to align solutions with long-term enterprise architecture goals.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline — or equivalent training/experience.
At least 5 years of experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly in designing, developing, and deploying large-scale applications in production environments.
Proficient in SDET roles with deep expertise in:

Programming Languages: Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript
Databases: SQL, MongoDB, Stored Procedures, query creation, and optimization
Cloud Platforms: Azure Kubernetes (K8)
Web Services: REST, GraphQL
Frameworks: KOA
Build/Deployment Tools: GitHub, GitHub Actions
Monitoring Tools: Dynatrace, Mezmo
QA Automation Tools: Cucumber, Playwright, load testing frameworks
Development Tools: VS Code

Strong understanding of object-oriented design and principles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Solid experience working in Agile methodologies like Scrum.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, especially Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Previous experience within the airline industry is a plus.

Expertise in automation tools, particularly Playwright.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Strong knowledge of data flow within MongoDB and SQL databases.
