The role involves driving fundraising efforts and relationships with private banks and distributors in APAC, with a primary focus on Hong Kong market. The individual will maintain a high level of contact with distributors such as global & regional private banks in the region, with the goal of accelerating the adoption of Blackstone investment solutions.
The candidate will also be the subject matter expert across one of the most diverse sets of alternative investment offerings in the industry by having regular interface with members of the firm’s global Blackstone Private Wealth group.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify opportunities for growth and drive the full fundraising cycle end-to-end by working closely with global and local colleagues across different functions, from client onboarding, product launches and post-launch management
• Manage client relationships and work with colleagues across Blackstone and Blackstone Private Wealth to build Blackstone’s presence and private markets adoption in the region
• Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate Blackstone’s sophisticated products. (fund objectives, terms, exposures, characteristics, positioning, performance, etc.)
Qualifications:

Around 7-8 years of relevant work experience
Hands-on knowledge and experience within the Private Wealth Management industry, existing networks with Private Banks in the region would be preferred.
A high level of attention to detail
Excellent presentation skills (internally involving senior management, externally for business partners and clients, audience size could be as large as 300+)
Can-do attitude. A desire to work in a team environment, often under competing deadlines.
Experience in project management across APAC/EMEA/NY-based teams
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Prior work experience in alternative investments (particularly private markets) and private banking would be preferred.
