Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Supervisor to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our credit department, overseeing credit evaluations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

  • Lead and supervise a team of credit analysts, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimise financial risks
  • Analyse complex credit applications and make informed decisions on credit approvals
  • Monitor and evaluate the credit portfolio, identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth credit operations and resolve any issues
  • Prepare and present comprehensive credit reports to senior management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices in credit management
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to team members
  • Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in credit management or a similar role
  • Proven track record in team leadership and supervision
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial information
  • Excellent knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and risk assessment techniques
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and credit evaluation
  • Familiarity with credit management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
  • Professional certification in credit management (e.g., CCP - Certified Credit Professional) is preferred
  • Understanding of Vietnamese financial market and regulations is advantageous
  • Fluency in both Vietnamese and English is essential
