Reporting to the Tournament Director, the Manager Golf, Events will support on event operations surrounding the SJM Macao Open, HSBC Women’s World Championship, LIV Singapore.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Research suitable suppliers and contractors for event requirements (i.e. transportation, accommodation, accreditation, caterers, vendors, utilities, tentage etc.)
Support the wider event team in all aspects of golf events dependent on your event roles and responsibilities.
Support the Event Director maintaining planning documents, invoicing and purchase orders.
Responsible for the management of event runners and at times other less experienced members of the team.
Participate in regular event status meetings and calls.
Responsible for organising meetings, agenda distribution and minutes of the meetings, if required.
Assist the events team on any bespoke events (e.g. Media Days, Golf Days, Promotional Activities) pre-event planning, onsite and post event.
Assist with the preparation of post-event report and any other reports that may be required.
Carry out supportive tasks to facilitate smooth day-to-day administrative tasks.
Secondary responsibilities will include support of the operational deliveries of SEA properties
Any other duties that are within scope of the role may be required

Knowledge & Experience

Demonstrable experience in event coordination, logistics and delivery
Experience in event management preferably within Golf or the Sports industry
Understanding of procurement and sponsorship activation
Experience in end-to-end project management is desirable
Working knowledge of MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build long lasting working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to self-direct and motivate and work with minimal supervision.
A strong team player that is flexible dependent on business demand and prioritize based on changing needs of both the client, the team and the event
