The role

We are seeking an Undergraduate Civil Engineer – Water Infrastructure for immediate start to join our team based in Brisbane, on a casual basis to work around your university commitments.  Mentored by industry experts, you will be working within our Water Infrastructure, Asset Management and Condition Assessment team. 

This role will offer exposure to assist on significant long-term programs of work with major water utilities within Southeast Queensland and around Australia.

Suitable applicants will be:

• In your third or penultimate year of undergraduate study in Civil Engineering at an Australian university
• An excellent communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary consultancy
• Keen to develop a long-term career within water infrastructure, with an initial focus in asset management and condition assessment
• Detail-oriented and possess strong analytical thinking skills, enabling effective structural degradation modelling and remaining life calculations for various water and wastewater assets
• A creative thinker who will foster innovative solutions to develop condition assessment test plans using the latest cutting edge technologies
• Possess excellent IT skills and interest in data management to maintain, extract data and update asset registers
• Current QLD drivers license
