Job Details:

SUMMARY: This role is responsible for conducting physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems, accurately documenting and calculating results, and taking corrective actions when necessary. This includes alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting results to management. Additional assignments may be requested. All team members are responsible for ensuring safety, including personal safety and food safety.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the Fresh Meats industry or other quality assurance-related experience.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Special Skills: Must be skilled in completing Tyson paperwork, leading by example, and motivating the hourly workforce. Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills, math and organizational skills, and the ability to read and interpret product specifications are essential. Must function well under stress and have the flexibility to work where and when needed.
• Physical Requirements: The position involves heavy lifting (70 lbs. or more).
• Supervisory: None.
• Travel: None.
• Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
