We are currently hiring a full-time Assistant Project Manager in our Ogden, Utah office. Position Summary

The Assistant Project Manager supports the execution of structural steel projects by working closely with Project Managers and Construction Managers. This position is responsible for administrative coordination, subcontractor and vendor communication, and field support—ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with Sure Steel’s standards of safety and quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize and track project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

• Assist with schedule management, procurement tracking, and jobsite logistics planning.

• Participate in internal and external project meetings, capturing notes and follow-up tasks.

• Maintain accurate and updated documents in BIM 360, OneDrive, and other project systems.

• Support field teams with compliance documentation, punch lists, and closeout tasks.

• Monitor and assist with safety reporting and field coordination needs.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction project support or coordination.

• Construction-related degree preferred (Construction Management, Engineering, etc.).

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with construction software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, BIM 360).

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (or willingness to obtain shortly after hire).

• Willingness to travel to job sites on occasion.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
