Key Responsibilities
The key focus of this role is to identify and assess commercial growth opportunities, creating relevant business models for the monetization of the customer value, as well as supporting the team with strategic pricing of the offering. You will present business cases, analyses and proposals to the Nordic Leadership team to ensure proper decision making and prioritization, aligned with the Sanoma Learning strategy. This purpose and responsibility entails:
- Leading the business case analysis expertise and practices in the Nordics team
- Responsibility for Growth business portfolio management and reporting
- Analysing the business opportunities’ potential and challenges
- Defining business models and building business cases
- Identifying new growth opportunities in the Nordics
- Providing key expertise to pricing & monetization planning
- Evaluating potential M&A and partnership opportunities
- Driving progress of selected Growth projects
You will work in close collaboration with the business teams of ‘Sanoma Pro’, ‘Sanoma Utbildning’ and Nordic organization of ’itslearning’, as well as with the international ‘Sanoma Learning’ central teams.
Formal Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Business, Economics or similar
- Several years of experience in a similar role, in a large corporate or from management consulting
- Proven track record in transforming new business concepts into successful propositions, having created and presented business cases, resulting in management buy-in
- Curious about and understanding of the latest innovative digital developments, like artificial intelligence
- Excellent Finnish and English speaking and writing skills (Fluency in Swedish is an advantage)
- Genuine interest in the educational market (knowledge and experience is an obvious advantage)
