Job Summary

Support the management of the with-profits business through review of bonus policies, monitoring of investment strategy and fund performance, and bonuses and crediting rates recommendation

The Job

  • Provide recommendation on bonus declaration; review and recommend changes to bonus mechanism in line with Company strategy, PRE and economic conditions
  • Support regular management reports and financial / management reporting processes, as well as engage in ad-hoc projects for the participating business
  • Review and implementation of dividend mechanism
  • Handle technical enquiries from different stakeholders, e.g. FWD Group, regulators, auditors, risk team
  • Provide guidance to junior team members in their daily tasks

The Person

  • 8+ years insurance experience in actuarial functions
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Actuarial Science or other Mathematics/Statistics based major
  • Fellowship or close to Fellowship in a recognized international actuarial professional body
  • Good understanding of participating life insurance products and various reporting bases
  • Experience with participating products management is preferred
  • Good Excel skills
  • Good Prophet experience is a plus
