Are you someone who can:

• Provide IT expertise and support in accordance with agreed framework of programming standards.
• Develop, maintain and enhance existing systems as per required specifications and to provide input into programming standards.
• Deliver high-quality software solutions within agreed timelines.
• Build unit and systems tests to ensure successful delivery of software solutions
• Support development environments.
• Mitigate potential risks within the IT programming environment by complying with technology business policy and process requirements (SDLC and change / release management process definition) to ensure operational performance.
• Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate and needed.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

• Have a relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science, B.Eng, BSC Eng, BSC Informatics or related degree.
• Have 3-5 years or more of related experience.
• Experience with one or more programming language such as Java or.NET
• Experience with container orchestration tools
• Experience with microservices architecture and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with PostgreSQL and or Microsoft SQL Server
