Team overview and job responsabilities:
Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, this position will be responsible for creating and implementing a sale strategy by developing new and existing customer relationships and identifying and executing commercial opportunities to capture new business and implement a long-term growth strategy for Argentina I&C Unit.
Main responsibilities:
Pursue new opportunities for business growth.
Work closely with the operations, logistics, procurement, financial functions and commercial while effectively using knowledge of current market dynamics to implement the overall strategy.
Define the business model and contract terms to define and execute campaigns and the overall marketing plan.
Establish priorities and direct resources as required to maintain project timelines on new product and process development.
Select, manage, and train team members while motivating and developing staff to ensure achievement of a leading high-performance organization.
Manage the capital expenditures to achieve performance targets and seek continuous improvement.
Responsible for developing and maintaining an extensive network of relationships with both existing and potential customers in multiple markets to identify and develop future growth opportunities.
Develop strategies to optimize sales, growth, market penetration, and profitability.
Attend industry events to represent Prysmian and enhance or initiate customer relationships.
Go-to for “next level” problem solving / conflict resolution on delivery issues, customer conflicts, quality issues, working with Supply Chain, Engineering, Plant Management, Logistics, etc. to effectively resolve problems.
Who are we looking for?
Graduate degree in Engineering, Business (Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics), or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 7 years in a sales leadership position, and ability to set department goals and deliver on individual and team sales targets.
10+ years’ experience selling highly technical products or services to industry;
An entrepreneurial mindset and passion about professional and personal growth
Proven ability to negotiate creative deals. Solid understanding of commercial business to business contract terms.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, SAP and Sales force will be considered as a plus.

Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con las operaciones, logística, adquisiciones, funciones financieras y comerciales, utilizando efectivamente el conocimiento de la dinámica del mercado actual para implementar la estrategia general.
Definir el modelo de negocio y los términos del contrato para definir y ejecutar campañas y el plan de marketing general.
Establecer prioridades y dirigir recursos según sea necesario para mantener los plazos del proyecto en el desarrollo de nuevos productos y procesos.
Seleccionar, gestionar y capacitar a los miembros del equipo mientras se motiva y desarrolla al personal para garantizar la consecución de una organización de alto rendimiento líder.
Gestionar los gastos de capital para alcanzar los objetivos de rendimiento y buscar mejoras continuas.
Responsable de desarrollar y mantener una extensa red de relaciones con clientes existentes y potenciales en múltiples mercados para identificar y desarrollar oportunidades de crecimiento futuro.
Desarrollar estrategias para optimizar ventas, crecimiento, penetración en el mercado y rentabilidad.
Asistir a eventos de la industria para representar a Prysmian y mejorar o iniciar relaciones con los clientes.
Punto de referencia para la resolución de problemas de "siguiente nivel" / resolución de conflictos en problemas de entrega, conflictos con clientes, problemas de calidad, trabajando con la cadena de suministro, ingeniería, gestión de planta, logística, etc. para resolver problemas de manera efectiva.
¿A quién estamos buscando?
Título de posgrado en Ingeniería, Negocios (Marketing, Finanzas, Contabilidad, Economía) o en un campo relacionado, o experiencia laboral equivalente
Mínimo de 7 años en una posición de liderazgo en ventas y capacidad para establecer metas departamentales y cumplir con los objetivos de ventas individuales y del equipo.
Más de 10 años de experiencia en la venta de productos o servicios altamente técnicos a la industria;
Una mentalidad emprendedora y pasión por el crecimiento profesional y personal
Comprobada capacidad para negociar acuerdos creativos. Sólido entendimiento de los términos de contratos comerciales entre empresas.
Excelentes habilidades interpersonales, de comunicación y de presentación demostradas.
Dominio de aplicaciones de Microsoft Office, incluyendo MS Excel, Word y PowerPoint; SAP y Salesforce se considerarán como un plus.
