As a Systems Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our FinCrime operations—supporting daily business functions, adapting to evolving regulatory requirements, and ensuring our systems run smoothly and securely. This role includes participation in an after-hours on-call support roster, so flexibility is key.

Please note: - This position requires participation in an afterhours on call support roster.

Some of the key responsibilities include: -

Coordinating patching and system changes with third-party vendors.
Providing incident support as part of the on-call roster.
Troubleshooting issues and collaborating with business users.
Testing configurations, queueing, and routing.
Supporting deployments and building run sheets.
Maintaining PowerBI dashboards.
Developing scripts for bulk alert closures.
Partnering with FinCrime Ops to improve workflows.
Engaging in technical design and system builds.

7+ years of 2nd/3rd-line support experience in financial services or similar environments.
Strong ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Experience troubleshooting large datasets and navigating database tables with minimal documentation.
Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, including stored procedures and relational database design.
Familiarity with Control-M job scheduling.
Scripting skills in Python, Bash Shell, SAS, and PL/SQL.
Bonus: Experience in containerised environments.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and consulting skills.
A self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving and system-thinking abilities.
Curiosity and courage to challenge the status quo.
Commitment to ethical decision-making and delivering high-quality outcomes.
