Facilities Engineer

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for building maintenance related activities, ensuring all facility services comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

2. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of facility systems, including, but not limited to, compressed dry air and gas systems, ensuring the continuous and reliable operation without having interruption to the production.

3. Coordinating, championing and implementing the Facilities 6S program. This role involves training, auditing, facilitating improvement events, and driving continuous improvement in workplace organization and efficiency.

4. Support and participate in departmental improvement projects, such as the energy savings program, contributing to the development and implementation of solutions

5. Able to hands-on repairing the building services work such as plumbing work, painting work etc.

6. Preparing scope of work and RFQ to supplier for any facilities work.

7. Maintaining clear communication with facility and operation people. Preparing reports on service quality, budgets, and other relevant metrics.

8. To support department ISO and other certification audits for your respective area by keeping all audit relevant documents in tip top condition.

9. To work closely with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) in ensuring safety workplace.

10. Manage building maintenance handyman / vendor for job arrangement and ensuring strictly follow company guideline.

11. Perform other assigned duties by superior.

12. Demonstrate commitment to the Environmental Management System (EMS) as per ISO 14001:2015 requirements.

13. Ensure environmental responsibilities are fulfilled in accordance with organizational policies and applicable environmental regulations.

14. Participate in environmental awareness and training programs.

15. Identify and report potential environmental risks or nonconformities.

16. Support continual improvement of environmental performance and compliance with EMS objectives.

17. Take reasonable care for the environment and follow procedures to prevent pollution or harm.

Requirements :

• Education: Bachelor degree from accredited tertiary education institution.

• Work Experience: Fresh graduate or 1 - 3 years in Engineering and/or Manufacturing industry.

• Computer Literacy: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.

• Language/ Communication Skills: Bahasa Malaysia, English.

• Work Environment: Able to work in fast-paced industry environment. Responsible to lead and coordinate site services activities.
