Job Description

SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking an experienced, results oriented self-starter to work closely with the Controller in the transformation of the Finance and Accounting (F&A) team’s processes.  As an Accounting Manager you will also be responsible for supporting a timely month-end close and related financial reporting and internal control functions. The Accounting Manager will help champion improvements in the efficient use of our NetSuite ERP and OneStream financial reporting, as well as the implementation of new systems and accounting tools.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the transformation of the F&A team for long-term scalability and efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of new systems and tools.
  • Supports the Controller in establishing and maintaining internal controls and safeguarding of assets while acting as a liaison with the F&A team.
  • Monitors compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and F&A procedures within the company.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage our use of OneStream for financial reporting and variance analysis while helping the F&A team with the adoption of OneStream.
  • Supports the escalation of IT issues on behalf of the F&A team.
  • Other duties as assigned to support F&A initiatives and objectives.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • MAcc, MBA, or CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably beginning in a Big Four public accounting firm, consulting firm, or F&A group
  • Current proficiency with US GAAP
  • Experience utilizing ERP system; proficiency with NetSuite is preferred; proficiency with OneStream a strong plus
  • Experience in SQL and Power BI a strong plus
  • Experience with consolidations and IFRS
  • Experience in transformation or process improvement initiatives in a F&A setting

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Analysis and forecasting skills to assist the F&A team with data requests and development
  • Excellent communication (verbal, presentation, and written) skills and responds timely to inquiries and information requests
  • Creative, self-disciplined, capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently with a sense of urgency
  • Hands-on, willing and able to dive into the details to accomplish objectives
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
