Are you a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner seeking a flexible, patient-centered role with clinical impact? IVX Health is hiring a PRN Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Danbury Infusion Center, supporting growing patient volume and expanding availability—including Saturday hours.
This PRN opportunity is ideal for providers who want consistent hours with low patient ratios, and the chance to deliver exceptional care without hospital red tape. Willingness to flex to nearby locations is a plus but not required.
What You Will Do
- Provide Direct Patient Care – Deliver on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections with precision.
- Conduct Patient Assessments – Perform evaluations, document SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses.
- Educate and Support Patients – Guide patients and families through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
- Ensure Compliance and Quality – Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, review nursing documentation, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards.
- Optimize Clinical Workflows – Assist with chart preparation and treatment planning to streamline patient visits.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams – Work closely with referring providers and cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination.
- Support Operations and Training – Assist in inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
- Flexibility and Adaptability – Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed.
- Perform Additional Duties – Take on other responsibilities as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Active and Unrestricted Licenses – Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by the state).
- Board Certification – AANP or ANCC certification required.
- Life Support Certifications – BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred.
- Clinical Experience – Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus.
- Ability to Treat a Diverse Patient Population – Must be able to care for both adults and pediatrics—Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred.
- Strong IV and Infusion Therapy Skills – Experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
- Proficiency in Clinical Documentation – Experience with EHR systems and a strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional Communication & Collaboration – Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Wage Range
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and is benchmarked against similar organizations to our size and industry. For our Nurse Practitioner role, we generally pay new hires between $62.75 and $70.00 per hour in the Fairfield County market. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for roles and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular employees are eligible for 401(k), health benefits, and other company benefits; some of these benefits may also be available for part-time positions.
