The Business Analyst position will work closely with the business to collect business requirements, review, approve and implement design changes. Will also work with development team to ensure requirements are met. Will lead project teams providing technical and functional guidance. Will independently drive outcomes to meet the business needs with various Carlisle Technologies. Excellent communications skills, an above average work ethic and a positive customer service-oriented attitude is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement, maintain, and support of business solutions, to include but not limited to SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Teams, and any related technologies the organization may employ. Work with business partners throughout the organization to leverage these resources to meet business goals.
- Work as tier 3 support for user issues
- Will work with Project Manager on projects that require project teams to complete
- Assist all efforts to standardize usage of software in Carlisle.
- Occasional upload of new data to entities or changes to existing in the timely manner
- Elicit detailed business requirements from users and translate into technical or functional requirements
- Create and maintain Technical Documentation in a central repository
- Enforce data best practices and work with Business to correct deficiencies
- Develop dashboards, views and charts within PowerBI, Share Point, Teams, etc..
- Collaborate and work with others within IT on open projects as well as strategically evaluate where the Office 365 Platform would benefit current operational processes
- Troubleshoot business issues as they arise
Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:
- Three plus years of Business Analyst experience is required
- Proven ability to provide leadership and engage effectively with multiple levels of business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage own tasks, plan, organize and coordinate work assignments
- Ability to propose, implement and maintain platform with the ever-changing Microsoft landscape
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to collect and analyze data.
- Basic knowledge of relation databases
- Knowledge of computer technology.
Education and Experience:
- 3 plus years work experience as a business analyst.
