Job Description Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:Assist the Film Technician in and oversee the checkout and check-in of the film equipment in the equipment room at Stage B. Organize and maintain the inventory of the film equipment; to include, but not limited to cameras, lights, grip, and sound equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with routine tasks in an office, classroom and department as assigned.
Must organize and update inventory, check the condition of department equipment and supplies, note if any equipment is in need of repair to include, but not limited to; cameras, lights, grip and sound equipment and supplies.
Required to attend all crew clinics and bootcamps.
Must communicate with the Film Technician regarding missing or damaged equipment.
Required to fill out missing/damage reports accurately and turn completed reports into the Film Technician and/or department head in a timely manner.
Must work in coordination with the student filmmakers, faculty, and other student workers and perform other job duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be enrolled as a student of Ringling College of Art and Design and may require federal work-study eligibility.
Must be well versed in the RED cameras and accessories, grip equipment, sound and lighting equipment.
Must be dependable, able work as scheduled, and work with general supervision.
Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with staff, faculty and other students in a courteous and professional manner.
Must complete office/classroom/departmental tasks as assigned in a timely manner.

Must be a Film student in good Academic standing
