NPI & Sustaining Test Engineer

Description -

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and deploy hardware, operating systems, diagnostics, BIOS, and hard disk images.
Develop code for automation tools, including integration via API and database management.
Leverage corporate tools and processes.
Perform root cause analysis of factory stop ship issues.
Collaborate and communicate with internal and outsourced development partners regarding hardware and software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
Participate as a member of a project team of other hardware and software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
2 to 3 years of experience in the following areas:
- Imaging tools like DISM, ImageX, MDT, Symantec Ghost.
- .Net development languages, specifically C#.
- Python experience is a plus.
- Design and development of user interfaces, user controls, and custom controls using ASP.NET and C# is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in ASP.NET, MVC, LINQ, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, XML, SQL Server, and Visual Studio.
- Knowledge in an Agile/Scrum delivery model.
- Familiarity working in Azure DevOps.
- SCCM knowledge/experience is a plus.
- Demonstrate the ability to apply analytical skills for debugging and troubleshooting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; medium/high level in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options.
- Basic knowledge of project management and data analysis, preferably with Power BI.
- These processes are complex and can take 1-3 months to become fully trained on all the processes.
- Bilingual (English).
