Hose Technicians | FIFO or Residential | Hydraulics - Pilbara & Goldfields WA

THE ROLE

Entering a new phase of growth for the organisation, we are currently seeking quality Hose Technicians to take on work assignments in the Pilbara/Goldfields WA.

Roster: To work 8 days on, 6 days off roster with work available in Newman, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie. Please note: You must be based in Western Australia already in order to work these assignments as you will be flying from Perth to our locations.

Interviews are available ASAP to join our team in FIFO and residential positions.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical service and troubleshooting/breakdown support
• Repair and replace hydraulic hoses at customer and mine sites as required
• Conduct tests of mechanical systems on site
• Manufacture hose assemblies
• Maintain hose rooms at sites in a safe and tidy state
• Identify sales opportunities through product cross selling and optimisation
• Liaise closely with key stakeholders to ensure high level of customer satisfaction is achieve

ABOUT YOU

• Unrestricted Australian work rights and must hold a valid visa
• Current driver's licence, preferably MR
• Broad understanding of hydraulic systems and principles
• Mechanical aptitude
• Exposure to service/repair of hydraulic and pneumatic Industrial/Mobile equipment
• Relevant trade or TAFE qualifications or at least 3 years or experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Logical problem-solving skills
