Currently we are looking for exceptional SG&A Financial Analyst to join our team in Lodz, Poland.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Centre of Excellence (COE) team consists of skilled analysts providing comprehensive finance support to global business partners. We ensure our information is meaningful and supports business operations. The SG&A Financial Analyst will be responsible for reporting monthly results, variance analysis, forecasting, annual budgeting, and providing financial decision support to business partners, and handle various ad hoc tasks.
Core responsibilities:
Support business partners in understanding their cost base and variances to budget, through creation of value added analysis of results and action focused outputs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and finding solutions to mitigate risks.
Support all business partners in delivery of global finance initiatives, building a best practice approach to SG&A cost reporting and analysis.
Lead the annual budgeting, planning and forecasting activities of SG&A costs for specific functions.
Be a trusted finance business partner to the functional heads and other members of the functional leadership teams, providing a financially biased lens and decision support to functional initiatives.
Work with the GL team to ensure the monthly accounts are successfully closed, reconciled and reported
Close cooperation with other FP&A teams
Assist project experts in day to day activities
Driving transformation of reporting methodologies, including utilizing best in class data visualization opportunities
Other ad hoc tasks as requested by line manager and key stakeholders.
Requirements:
University degree in Finance and/or Accounting, Business Analytics or completion of a relevant course; or currently in the final year of study.
At least 2 years of related experience in Accounting and/or Finance roles, preferably SG&A
Interest in Management Accounting, Reporting and Analysis – willingness to develop in that area
Languages: English is a must (min B2- both speaking and in writing); Polish: min. B1 level
Knowledge of SAP (is a must) & EPM systems (would be an asset)
Intermediate to Advanced level in the use of Excel, knowledge of VBA/Power Query/Macros/PowerBi
Analytical skills on a high level
