Main purpose of the role:
Our client is seeking a junior derivatives lawyer to join them for a short-term contract, starting as soon as possible.
You will be responsible for:
Provide legal support in respect of derivatives transactions and other Global Markets products and initiatives.
Develop and maintain templates and liaising with external counsel when necessary.
Assisting with documentation such as drafting and reviewing ISDA Master Agreements, trade confirmations and product term sheets.
Person specification:
You are a qualified solicitor with 1 to 5 years PQE of relevant experience with a reputable local or international law firm.
You have recent experience working on derivatives transactions and global markets documentation (ISDA master agreements).
You have excellent transactional, negotiation and drafting skills and will have demonstrated the ability to take initiative and apply good commercial and legal judgment.
You are an adaptable and resourceful individual with growth mindset.
