Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive is currently searching for a junior to mid-level financial services regulatory consultant to support one of the firms' key clients for an assignment lasting 6 months.

  • Provide legal and regulatory advice on Singapore financial services laws, including the Securities and Futures Act, and MAS Guidelines and Notices.

  • Advise on licensing and registration requirements, conduct of business obligations, and regulatory reporting.

  • Support clients on regulatory change projects, including implementation of new MAS regulations and cross-border compliance.

  • Draft and review legal documentation including policies, compliance manuals, and regulatory submissions.

Person specification:

  • You are a qualified solicitor, with training from a top tier practice.

  • You will have previous financial services regulatory experience.

  • You have SMR experience is highly desired.

  • We expect this assignment to suit a lawyer 2-6yrs PQE but welcome applicants of all PQE levels.

  • You are collaborative and have excellent communication skills with attention to detail.

  • You have a high degree of client service orientation and responsiveness.

  • You are able to work effectively as part of a multi-jurisdictional team.

  • You must have the relevant working rights/ visa for Singapore.
