We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Aviation Supervisor – Passenger Services to oversee the daily operations of our passenger services team. This role ensures smooth and efficient airport operations while delivering exceptional customer service to passengers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Pay: $22.00/hr
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor passenger service agents to ensure top performance and excellent customer service standards.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily passenger service operations, including check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and resolving passenger inquiries.
- Customer Service Excellence: Address passenger concerns and provide solutions in a professional and timely manner.
- Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with airline, airport, and regulatory requirements, including safety and security standards.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Prepare staff schedules and allocate resources efficiently to meet operational demands.
- Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to promote growth and improvement.
- Problem Resolution: Handle operational challenges, including flight delays, overbookings, and passenger complaints, while minimizing disruptions.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit operational reports to management, tracking key metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in passenger services or airport operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with airline systems, including check-in and baggage processes.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of FAA, TSA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Experience in a fast-paced airport or airline environment.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
