What you'll be doing:

As a Logistics Specialist at Avon, you’ll play a key role in keeping our supply chain running smoothly. You’ll work closely with freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure our products move efficiently from production to delivery. You’ll analyze data, solve problems, and help us stay ahead of changes in the market. Your work will directly impact how we serve our customers across South Africa and the SADC region.

Key responsibilities:

What you'll be working on:

Managing inbound logistics and inventory planning, including budgeting and local production coordination
Building strong relationships with freight forwarders and negotiating service agreements
Monitoring economic and environmental trends to adjust shipping plans proactively
Collaborating with marketing, sales, and regional planners to ensure seamless service delivery
Supporting procurement, supplier onboarding, and risk review processes
Contributing to inventory analysis, forecasting, and stock management
Assisting with new product development for locally manufactured items
Driving improvements in service levels, inventory optimization, and supply chain agility

What we're looking for:

A degree in Supply Chain or a related field, and experience in logistics, planning, or procurement—ideally in an FMCG environment
Analytical, organized, and a strong communicator
Confident using Microsoft Office tools and understand best practices in supply chain management
You thrive in fast-paced environments, solve problems quickly, and enjoy working with diverse teams and external partners
