We are searching for a Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll services, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional support across our organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach a team of Payroll Consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Complete end of year processing in accordance with ATO guidelines.
- Complete reconciliation of wages and payments and government returns submitted within deadlines.
- Ensuring Workday is configured to comply with ATO legislative requirements.
- Preparing and submitting payroll reports, including superannuation, PAYG and other statutory obligations.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries regarding pay, deductions and entitlements.
- Continuously improving payroll processes and procedures via automation and relevant technology solutions.
- Manage payroll reconciliations, reporting, and compliance across multiple platforms including Workday, ADP Payforce, and MYOB PayGlobal.
What You’ll Bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Accounting, Finance, or Business (desirable).
- Membership with the Australian Payroll Association (desirable).
- Extensive experience in payroll management and people leadership.
- Strong HRIS experience, ideally with Workday and ADP.
- Proven ability to interpret awards, enterprise agreements, and Fair Work legislation.
- A passion for compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement
