Full Time
- participates in creating business plans and roadmaps for sector products by identifying new markets, products, and business streams, analyzing them, and recommending them for the purpose of developing new lending products.
- Participates in defining profitable segments according to sector objectives by collecting and analyzing feedback from the sales team, relationship managers, and relevant customer service parties to form a clear picture of the requirements and characteristics of products that need development.
- Guides business development units at the corporate level toward available market opportunities, economic sectors, and targeted companies, reflecting on the bank’s business growth and gaining precedence in some markets (Marketing Lead). This is done by supervising the process of gathering information about customers and competitors and conducting necessary studies to identify profitable segments that enhance the bank’s profitability and competitive position.
- Follows up on regularly updating data and information to provide an adequate and accurate database to assist bank management in decision-making.
- Participates in preparing reports related to product performance results concerning the corporate and financial institutions sector, as well as reports related to measuring the unit’s achievement of its goals within the allocated budgets, to identify deviations and address them.
- Prepares studies and analyses related to the corporate and financial institutions sector markets, identifies their divisions, trends, and expected future changes to understand customer segments and define their needs and desires regarding banking products, according to the direct manager’s guidance.
- Prepares market studies and research related to investigating competitors’ products and services, compares them with those available at the bank in terms of quality, pricing, competition, and leadership in service delivery, and documents recommendations about improving, developing, or introducing competitive products to meet the requirements of corporate and financial institution clients, aiming to increase the bank’s market share and sales of these services and products, based on the direct manager’s guidance.
- Participates in preparing and conducting periodic surveys that measure customer satisfaction (current and potential) to compare the bank’s products with competitors’, identify strengths and weaknesses, and assess customer awareness and interest in the bank’s products and services using appropriate tools such as questionnaires. Documents recommendations and submits them to the direct supervisor.
- Participates in preparing the advertising plan for products and services related to the corporate and financial institutions sector in coordination with relevant parties in general management to ensure suitability and capability to achieve required goals.
- Works on introducing new services and products specific to the sector’s products based on market studies aimed at achieving a distinctive competitive position for the bank, according to the scope of work and direct manager’s guidance.
- Participates in measuring the performance of sector programs and products launched at Bank of Jordan and its foreign branches after their release, regularly reviewing feedback to improve and develop these products, ensuring they meet desired goals and addressing any obstacles or difficulties any product may face.
- Proposes ideas and initiatives aimed at increasing the profitability of sector products at Bank of Jordan and its foreign branches and works on reflecting these as new products and services in coordination with all relevant departments.
- Continuously follows up on the requirements of the approved credit system for offered programs and products, and reviews the performance criteria and indicators for all sector products.
- Acts as a primary/alternate member within the business continuity plan and emergency teams as per the regulations, executing all required tasks under the plan to minimize crisis impacts and restore operations as soon as possible.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in administrative sciences, banking, or any related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in banking, preferably with products related to corporate and financial institutions sectors.
- Analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of market analysis and product development tools.
- Knowledge of customer satisfaction measurement methods.
- Thorough knowledge of the bank’s products and services.
- Ability to communicate and deal with customers.
- Presentation and delivery skills.
