Product Owner

Job Title:  Technical Product Owner

Location: Sydney

Contract Duration: 9 Months

 

Responsibilities:

• Technical Vision: Provide the technical vision for cloud modernization projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Backlog Management: Create and manage the product backlog, prioritizing tasks based on value to the business and impact on the customer.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, development teams, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Stakeholder Communication: Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders, ensuring the development team understands the product vision and goals.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues, removing impediments to ensure smooth project progress.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and performance of solutions, introducing new ideas to improve productivity and efficiency.

 

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven track record in a Product Owner or similar role, ideally within an IT/SAAS environment. Knowledge of the financial services or banking environment would be ideal.
• Technical Background: Previous experience in a technical role such as Development Lead with a solid understanding of technical requirements.
• Skills: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure, and strong organizational and time management skills.
