Senior Associate/Associate Team Lead – Delivery Excellence

The Opportunity 

We are currently on the lookout for a Senior Associate/Associate Team Lead to join our Delivery Excellence team which is responsible for defining agile best practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a sound understanding of Agile delivery to collaborate, lead change, and inspire teams towards excellence in delivery within an agile environment. 

Responsibilities: 

• Helping teams to “be more agile” rather than “do agile” by being an advocate for Agile and DevOps 

• Directly working with the Senior Manager – Delivery Excellence to define, design and implement an organization-wide Agile improvements strategy 

• Assisting teams with adhering to Agile practices by performing periodic checks based on assessing Agile maturity and publishing the same to measure improvement over time 

• Designing and delivering coaching interventions informed by a detailed understanding of each team’s work scope, delivery roadmap, and operational challenges 

• Researching, creating content and delivering training programs on Agile best practices 

• Encouraging Agile teams to improve on their Agile engineering and quality practices using a metrics and data driven approach via state-of-the-art agile project management tools and in-house developed dashboards 

• Being part of Product management team of the in-house process tool suite to improve team productivity by automating operations as much as possible to help serve engineering teams better 

Requirements: 

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification with 3+ years of industry experience working in Agile software development environments having played a Scrum Master role 

• A minimum of 1 years of experience in a Project Manager role 

• Must be passionate about process improvements within software development, and able to support teams to deliver greater value for Sysco with high productivity and quality 

• Experience in championing causes and being a change agent 

• The ability to collaboratively work across different teams and influencing without authority 

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to understand team dynamics and work effectively with diverse and challenging stakeholders 

• Sound knowledge in Agile methodologies and practices (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) 

• Strong knowledge of software engineering and testing principles (background in engineering will be an advantage), and high analytical and problem-solving capabilities 

• Hands-on experience in JIRA would be an added advantage 

• Exposure to CMMi, ISO 9001/27001, ITIL process frameworks would be an added advantage 

• Professional certifications such as PMI-ACP/PMP, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or ITIL would be an added advantage
