- Shadow senior sales executives to learn client engagement, solution pitching, and negotiation strategies.
- Conduct basic market research and support lead generation initiatives across target sectors and geographies.
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and service presentations.
- Participate in client meetings, taking minutes and documenting client requirements accurately.
Commercial Understanding:
- Understand various pricing models used in logistics including warehousing, transportation, and value-added services.
- Support sales team in creating cost estimates and commercial proposals for prospective clients.
- Learn to use CRM tools to track pipeline, opportunities, and client interactions.
Operational Exposure:
- Gain exposure to operational processes including warehousing, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, and WMS.
- Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to ensure service delivery as promised to clients.
- Translate operational understanding into effective selling points and customer value propositions.
Reporting & Coordination:
- Maintain sales dashboards and prepare periodic sales reports.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations) to support onboarding of new clients.
- Support internal presentations and client review meetings with data collation and analysis.
Requirements
Education:- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or International Trade. (MBA or Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain/Sales/International Business is a plus.)
- Strong academic record with demonstrated interest in commercial or logistics roles through internships, projects, or certifications.
Experience:
- 0–2 years of experience in a logistics, 3PL, supply chain, or B2B sales environment.
- (Fresh graduates with a proactive learning attitude are encouraged to apply.)
- Exposure through internships, capstone projects, or part-time work in logistics companies will be advantageous.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Valid UAE Drivers License
- Basic understanding of supply chain processes – inbound, outbound, warehousing, transportation.
- Familiarity with logistics industry terminology, pricing structures, and customer segments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – written and verbal.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of CRM tools is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to travel locally or regionally for client visits and training exposure.
