JOB CONTENT
To oversee the financial
planning, budgeting, reporting, and accounting activities; guide the financial
strategy in order to ensure compliance and support the overall organizational
success.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic:
- Develop the financial
strategy for the company based on treasury, accounting, regulatory and
other statutory requirements to ensure that there is a clearly defined
strategy for the department based on the business strategy.
- Participate in the
formulation of the long-term organizational strategy by providing inputs
on the financial strategy to ensure that finance and regulatory
requirements are incorporated into the organizational strategy.
- Develop Finance &
Accounting policies, plans and programs in consultation with key
stakeholders which will assist the achievement of Atyab’s business plans
and strategies and in line with vision and mission of the company,
oversee Atyab’s operations, responsible for conducting due diligence for
new projects and provide inputs/derive strategy for further decision
making & progress.
4. Lead the
development of the annual budget and long-term financial plans.
Operational:
- Oversee the
preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring
accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide timely and insightful
financial information to the CEO for decision-making.
- Implement effective risk
management strategies to safeguard the company's financial assets.
- Ensure compliance with
relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Direct the budgeting process,
working closely with department heads to establish realistic and
achievable financial targets.
- Monitor and analyze financial
performance against budget, providing insights and recommendations.
- Manage cash flow effectively
to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
- Implement cash flow
forecasting and optimization measures.
- Develop and maintain robust
financial controls and systems to ensure the integrity of financial
information.
- Implement improvements to
enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.
- Coordinate external audits,
liaising with auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
- Address audit findings and
implement recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Perform any other related
tasks as assigned by the CEO / Board of Directors
People development:
- Lead and mentor a
high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and
continuous improvement.
- Identify financial staff
requirements in a timely manner and ensures their training and
development.
- Encourage and initiate
training workshops to provide opportunities for employees to acquire
greater skills enhance current employee performance and gain on-job
coaching/training.

Requirements
MINIMUM
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education:
– Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a
related field. CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable
Experience:
– Minimum 15 years of significant work experience
with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in managing the Finance & Accounts
Department
– Experience in a senior management role is
required
Special
Skills & Knowledge:
– Understanding
of complex financial data, reports and financial statements, economic
modelling, valuations techniques, acquisitions, and merger in a complex
environment
– Understanding
of business processes, related operations, industry trends and market
concepts.
– Excellent
