We are seeking experienced Murex Accounting (Finance) Consultant to work in New York in a client-servicing role to drive one of our client’s Murex projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Advising on Murex best practices in the P&L processes, position management, accounting, hedge accounting and financial reporting.
Work on accounting for trade and position configuration.
Accounting configuration: Rules, Filters etc.
Provide liquidation module support- Translating these requirements into appropriate solutions.
Update documentation covering functional / technical aspects of Murex platforms and business processes.
Assist on the testing approach and design of test cases.
Training users on basic use of the system, new functionality, etc.

Requirements

Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably from Finance, Business or Accounting.
Minimum of 3-5 years of Murex Accounting/ Finance experience in the capital markets industry.
Knowledge of accounting standards for treasury products.
Experience on accounting and liquidation module in configuration or support in Murex3.1
Exposure to complete trade life cycle.
Must be able to convey plans, issues and concerns to clients and team members in clear, logical and concise manner.
Strong time management skills and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
